How do you cook vegetables so that they do not lose their healing properties?
It is best to cook vegetables over low heat in a small amount of water (just a few spoons) without adding oil for a few minutes.
This method of cooking preserves the vegetable juices and all the beneficial minerals in the vegetables. If you cook vegetables in large amounts of water, all the minerals will remain in the water.
You can add oil to cooked vegetables, but not before serving them. Salt should be added at that time.
